USB booting :: floppy assist booting?

is there a way to make a bootable floppy and have the floppy boot up the USB drive?

The standard DSL boot floppy has the option fromusb

boot: dsl fromusb

Also, there is an older boot floppy that was specifically for USB the USB edition.
