USB booting :: Help installing DSL...

attach one before you start dsl and it should autoconfigure them.

Or else use xsetup

I found al my boot options:
USB-HDD
USB-CDROM
USB-ZIP
USB-FDD
ZIP100
HDD-0, HDD-1, HDD-2, HDD-3
CDROM, FLOPPY, LAN, SCSI, LS120

what do I have to chose?

And I used Winrar to extract the .ISo, with winrar you can make and extract .ISO files.

I'm trying now with the embedded version.

Ref the question above - USB-HDD works best for me.

Ref the question before, a couple of questions:

1. What kind of mouse do you have?

2. What kind of mouse does DSL think you have as per the boot messages (the multi-coloured ones) at start-up? You should see something like "PS/2 mouse found at /dev/psaux" or similar.

answers:
1. I have a USB optical mouse
2. If I boot DSL on a CD it says: mouse in unknown at /dev input/mice

Well, the good part is that DSL is seeing some kind of mouse - if you run xsetup and choose USB mouse, does it work?
