USB booting :: Problems creating and performing USB Boot
Having some trouble with USB Booting and ultilization of this OS. Here are the steps that were taken
1. In a DSL install, went to tools, create USB pen drive on a blank (no partition 2GB USB Stick) 2. Program performed this with no issues - everything appeared successfully. Checked the USB stick with cfdisk and two partitions were observed. SDA1 win 95 partition and SDA2 linux ext2 with the Knoppix, etc. 3. Created the USB Boot Floppy. 4. In a laptop that works with DSL CD, booted from Floppy with USB Boot floppy. Typed DSL fromusb. Goes through the steps then apparent scanning of SDA-SDE and so on - kernel panic at end.
Not sure where to start. Any advice?
Thanks in advanceis the floppy bootdisk created from the same CD as you used to install the pendrive ?

I just downloaded the DSL embedded version and put it on the flash drive and used syslinux to make it bootable.
