USB booting :: USB boot compatability list

USB-HDD instalation works with ASUS, but I have a problem with My QDI KT400 Phoenix AwardBIOS.
First Boot Device - USB-HDD
USB Keyboard Support - Enabled
OnChip USB Controler - All Enabled
USB 2.0 Support - Disabled
It doesn't boot ... please help me !
What can I do ?

usb-hdd install boots successfull when you enable "hard disk" usb emulation on

- asus p4p800e deluxe
- asus p4p800-x
- asus p4p800se
- asus p4p800s-x
- asus p4pe2-x
- asus p5p800
- asus p5p800 se
- asus p5gd1 pro
- asus p5wd2 premium

Sony Microvault 256MB, dsl 2.3 USB-HDD install. So far no problems.

I used an extreme preformance 128mb and it runs fast and flawless.

Just got it to boot on a dell inspiron 1300

so happy:D
