USB booting :: how to install openssl096b-0.9.6b-3.i386.rpm

how to enable RPM support command
You'll need to at least install rpm, although i'm not sure how much more work is needed.  DSL is based on Knoppix, which was based on Debian.  Debian is not an RPM distro, so for all i know rpm many not work at all.

Maybe you'd have better luck with a deb package:

Generally speaking, you should use DEB packages when possible.

Otherwise, you can get the alien extension from the mydsl repository and use it to convert an RPM into a DEB and then install the DEB.
