I have a usbkey of 4 giga and I do all the procedure to create a usbkey with a damn linux, but I have a problem with the syslinux because when I install the syslinux in my usbkey the shell return that I have a device with more than 16k cluster.
The grub and lilo don't want install becuse there are problem with the usbkey and the bios.
Some ideas?
Hi rabinhood!
Have you tried dsl-embedded? The only thing you have to do to get it going is to format your usb-drive with fat32 and unzip the dsl-embedded.zip file to it. It won't work directly with some bioses though. But if that's so in your case you will be able to boot it with a dsl-cdrom with the following commands at boottime: dsl fromhd=/dev/sda1 qemu frugal xsetup (that's the way I use it with my Sandisk Cruzer Titanium usb-drive). Hope everything works out for you!
Keep on having fun with this wonderful distro,
