-----
after try and error, i found that the problem happen on just one PC, the other i have no problem to install it on usb (i don't know why)
I typed those commands and it didn't seem to do anything. Can someone post screenshots or can I just copy the file in Windows?
here i post the screenshot
and let me write my way to fix that :
1. boot DSL from CD
2. open XTerm
3. type this command at the $ prompt:
$ sudo su
# mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/sda1
# cp /cdrom/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX /mnt/sda1/knoppix/knoppix
# chmod 755 /mnt/sda1/knoppix/knoppix
# sync
# exit
$ exit
4. try to reboot the computer, eject the cdrom, set the bios to boot from USB.
Good luck....

Miftah
