USB booting :: iPod Shuffle

Has anyone successflly installed DSL to an iPod shuffle?

Yes, it can be done. Just copy the "ipod/control"-file folder on the HD.

Then use these instructions from fuzzymunchkin to get DSL on the ipod shuffle.

Then you copy back the "ipod/control"-file on the stick as it was.

You can then use the ipod shuffle normally and also boot to DSL from it. Works at least on my ThinkPad R40e.

DSL is absolutely great!
