USB booting :: Again USB 2.0
Try this:
1) Download the DSL usb boot floppy image file from the website.
2) From linux, use "dd" or from Windows use Rawrite32 to create a usb boot floppy disk.
3) Rename the minirt24.gz file on your pendrive to minirt24.gz.old
4) Copy minirt24.gz from the usb boot floppy over to your pendrive.
Hopefully, this will work. If it doesn't work, simply delete the new minirt24.gz file and rename the old file back to it's original name.
Thanks cbagger01, minirt24.gz did the trick! I copied it off the USB stick carrying 1.4, then I updated to 1.5 and copied over minirt24.gz. The speed is back now as it runs as USB 2.0 and I can use the nousb option.
