USB booting :: building DSL from Linux
The md5sum failed. Not very funny, when having downloaded a 50MB file via 56k-Modem. Think now I know, why it is called "DAMN small Linux".
I was on dialup for years, and not even sexy 56k dialup.
Nope, dialup here maxes out at 21.4 kb/s.
I downloaded several 3 and 4 cd distros on it.
Sorry if I seem a bit apathetic, but it's just not that big of a download..
I now bought DSL on a CD. What may be reason for failing to install still? I installed out of DSL itself (F3 at boot prompt). And Installation even completed. BIOS found USB Boot Record but shows "Operating System loading error"
