USB booting :: A lot of booting errors

Ok, I installed as USBHDD and when I try to boot off of my tablet. I get a crap load of errors. Most of them saying that there is a read error at some position in file /cdrom/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX.

At the end of the message it says that the file system has been set read-only.

I tried to go into Windows and on my jumpdrive to make the KNOPPIX folder not read-only but that did not help. Any help will be appreciated.

By the way, I know my USB key and my computer can boot from USB because I am running Slax as we speak.
