USB booting :: Think Pad USB Driver for Ipod nano

Hello i´m Paul from peru, I own a IBM thinkpad R40 and i bought an ipod nano 4Gb, the problem is: My computer doesnt recognize the ipod it tells me, there is no driver installed for this device, im searching every posibility and i didnt find anithing.
