DSL Embedded :: keyboard/mouse not working

Hi all, I'm a complete linux noob.  I decided to use embedded DSL so I wouldn't "commit" to linux (but I will :)

I ran xsetup.sh to change my screen resolution, and it also asked me my mouse and k/b settings.  I set the mouse to USB, and the k/b to what I'm assuming was the default (english? I don't remember the exact details) and restarted qemu.  When DSL came back up, the mouse wouldn't work, and neither would the keyboard.  Ctrl+alt+2 lets me get to the qemu screen, and ctrl+alt lets go of the mouse.  I'm assuming that I just changed the settings wrong, but how do I fix it?

DSL embedded runs from inside a "virtual computer".

This fake computer system has a fake PS/2 mouse device.

So even if your "real" mouse is USB, please choose PS/2 mouse when you are using DSL embedded.

gotcha.  Thanks!
I am having the same issue...I mistakenly selected USB Mouse instead of PS/2 and now when bringing up DSL with Qemu I don't have access to mouse or keyboard.

Is there a way to access the xsetup.sh without booting DSL with Qemu?

Thanks,

desNotes

Two ways:

Press CONTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE and then type xsetup.sh at the prompt.  Then type startx to restart xwindows.

or

add "xsetup" to the append string inside the dsl-windows BAT file for QEMU
