DSL Embedded :: 3 questions



1)No, but what do you need it for? You are running a virtual system not a physical one.

2) Yes, you need Samba.

3) Yes, you need a Qemu binary patched with bridged networking support, but, again, why?

Don't forget defragment XP before resizing, or it might screw it up. You shold grab a copy of gparted comes in very handy->

This live cd makes working on partions so easy.

good point on the swap thing. ;)
also a good point on samba. (note to self: "DUH!")

as for why I need bridged networking...because the dhcp is not an option that works worth a darn in my setup, and assigning a proper lan ip also fails.

All i'm trying to accomplish here is avoiding the need to use a resource hog like vmware, and the option of dual-booting...well....sux. ;)
