DSL Embedded :: DSL on CF card

i dont know ... is DSL embedded write something on CF?
cf have limited number of writes to it so i dont like idea that after 1 week of working cf will be only to dump .... how to prevent this ?

True limited number of writes.
So don't do a regular hard drive install.
Instead do a frugal install which mimics the cdrom.
I run several machines this way and have for over a year.

can you tell me how to install DSL frugal on cf ?
i have USB to CF card reader ... if i isntall it by tool menu it dont work in compaq ... i think that he have wrong writings ;/ it isnt sda1 it has to be at hdc ..but i dont know how to do it
