DSL Embedded :: Can't Change Keyboard Map

Hi,
can someone please point me in the right direction.

I'd like to change the keyboard from us to uk, i'd tried using the "dsl keyboard" and I've tried sudo kbdconfig (which appears to do something) but when I reboot i still have a us keyboard, i've even changed us to uk in /etc/X/XF86Config, but still no joy, I guess I must be missing something fundermental :S

Thanks In Advance

what if you're running from a QEMU harddrive & dont have a boot: prompt ;)

I've installed using http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/talk/node/64

cheers

YOU INSTALLED TO THE PSEUDO HDD IN QEMU?!!

Not. Good. Idea.

That will KILL your flashdrive.

Or did you do a standard hdinstall?

He probably is not running dsl-installed to the pseduo harddrive, but maybe is running dsl-embedded-0.9.2. which provides a shared pseudo harddrive (hdb) and has no boot prompt.  If so, the boot time options are still available by modifying the startup scripts, dsl-windows.bat, or dsl-linux.sh. Simply add the desired boot time option inside the append "  "  list of options.
