DSL Embedded :: External Zip drive. Is that an embedded device?

I recently came across a Jaz 1GB external zip drive.

I want to try to install DSL to a disc, and run from that.
Is that possible?
And, if so, how?

Try using the ZIP boot floppy and see if it works.

I took a guess, and did a poor-man's install to a disk, then did "dsl zipboot" with a boot floppy. It worked nicely.
