DSL doesn't "find" your CPU when running in embedded mode. Instead, DSL finds the CPU that is running inside of your VIRTUAL COMPUTER that is created inside QEMU. The virtual CPU is a Pentium Pro processor, and the speed that is detected depends on the instantaneous speed of your emulator at the time that the check is performed. So if you want DSL to see your REAL cpu, run it in native mode at boot time, either from livecd or from USB boot. |
