DSL Embedded :: ideCF and Frugal lilo gives me 'L'

I have a 64M Lexar CF and a 64M Toshiba (branded Viking) CF, with a tranquil cf>ide adapter and lastly DSL 0.9.2 & 1.2.
After the frugal install to hda1 successfully tells me lilo has been written, it reboots and all i get is an L.  If i use the cd to boot it 'fromhd', everything is fine, but for this project, it kinda defeats the object of running from a cf.

I have googled this and done a fair bit of searching in the name of sport before posting this, but cant find anything helpful.

Outanet, I think you will find that your problem is in cmos setup rather than anything to do with DSL.  I am also running two machines from cf and I had the same symptoms on my laptop. I found that it was just a matter of setting the hard drive parameters correctly so that it would recognize the cf.  At this time I can not tell you what settings that I used because the machine is at home and I am not at home.  If you can not figure it out  I will post my settings later.

Good luck!

That was it!!,
I simply changed the drive in the bios to user, rather than auto.

Many many thanks. :D
