DSL Embedded :: GX1 CPU and QVGA?

I have a friend that has several embedded PC boards that he runs WinCE on. It is based on a Nat Semi GX1 CPU and has a Sharp 5.7" QVGA display. There is only a Type II CF on board and I would dearly love to have DSL running on it. BTW, there is only a touch screen input - no KB or mouse.

The trick is the build. I am not sure how to build the CF from a desktop for this board.

CPU: Nat Semi GX1
RAM: 64 MB
Display: Sharp 5.7" TFT QVGA (graphics are from the GX1 companion 5530)
Input: 4 wire resistive
Network: 10/100Mb Ethernet
Serial: RS232/485
Expansion: Mini PCI

If someone can help get DSL running, I can probably get one of these coughed up into their hands. He has about 100 of them lying about and I would like to find a good home for them without the WinCE.
