The Battle for Wesnoth

I used both XFree86.dsl and NVidia.dsl
Others have used only XFree86 with the stock drivers.

It's in the "testing" area of the repository.

The non-testing version in the repository today installed fine with just an enhanced HD install and GTK2 upgrade on a Dimension 4100.

I even got it back into myDSL from an FAT32 partition after borking my first attempt at a gaming/multimedia box and having to start over again.

I was curious whether anyone had been able to play multiplayer online and/or across a LAN???? I know we need to do some upgrading first and I need to take a bit of a break from bork-reinstall-bork-reinstall before my brain is ready to tackle the  next adventure.

:D

correction..

I was able to play this game from a stock LiveCD bootup.

So, while the game graphics may play smoother with XFree or NVidia,
they aren't necessary to enjoy the game..
