Games :: newb needing help with freex86

im trying to get freex86 to work on dsl, im fairly new to linux. i looked at the help for it, which says modiy .../dsl/home/.xserver, which i dont have after i run it

im running dsl irc1 as a live cd, on a nvdia mx440

any suggestions?

.xserverrc is a "hidden" file, also known as "dotfile". If you're viewing in emelfm, press Ctrl+h or the "H" button to see dotfiles.

ok thanks, ill try that and see if i can get it working

when im on the live cd it wont let me create the XF86Config-4 file in the ect/x11/ folder which i need, is there anyway to do that?

my XF86Config-4 file is in /home/dsl
so I've put this line in /opt/bootlocal.sh
sudo cp /home/dsl/XF86Config-4 /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
