now we can only download the iso from ftp servers right? and hosting them costs money... so why not we have an ed2k link so that people can share the iso?

Hmm... nice idea but I'd think it's to unsafe.
Often noone might know which version he/she actually gets and it might be broken or unfinished

I'd hate to see that little beloved penguin crippled...
But noone will stop you to give it try

I think p2p is fun but not the right platform for OSs....
Anyhow - just a voice in a chorus (what happend to me? I talk nonsense ... :-)
