DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: DSL needs hdparm

DSL edges Puppy out a bit on hardware detection, no doubt due to DSL's Knoppix heritage. And with the toram option, DSL would make an ideal distro for cross-country flights *if* hdparm were included so that the hard drive could be put to sleep. With everything running from RAM and no drive spin, the battery should last forever. :)

Remove the HD :-)
