DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: addon packs
Yes would be nice, but apt-get works great for me

Can you install the static version of Opera from apt-get?
The dynamic one has a bunch of QT library dependencies.
Also, you can't use apt-get if you are running a live CD, or running a "toram" version of DSL.
Oops. Double post
Opera?! It is indeed much damn faster than Mozilla. Only problems are the damn ads and not knowing how to make it recognize the Flash plug-in installed by DSL (FireBird+Flash).
DSL really needs "Magic Icons" both to install programs when running from CD and when it is already installed in the HD!
I got Opera from the Website (opera.com) and it worked very well
You only need the QT Static as .tar.gz
with 4,8MB
