DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: download alsa like firebird?

The soundchip on my motherboard just doesn't work without Alsa. Why, I don't know, but it doesn't. So, keeping DSL's size in mind, why not fix it so that you can download Alsa like you can Firebird?
