DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Why is DSL not based on current Knoppix?

Knoppix has been using kernel 2.4.22 for a while now but DSL is still stuck with 2.4.20-xfs.
It is working okay with me but I am just curious why it is taking some time to upgrade the kernel.
