This comes with a mess of ultilities. Though its 120 something megs.
I do think you can strip it off a few to get it down to 50.

considering that the whole DSL distribution is (and has to stay) less than 50 MB, I don't think that will help

Who says you have to use DSL to test ram...UBCD is perfect for system maintenance
