Hardware Talk :: Is ARM suuported in DSL??

Can an ARM processor be connected to an x86 machine running DSL?
I'll be compiling my C code in GCC and via a serial RS - 232 port there'll be an interface to the ARM processor...
Is this possible? PCQ linux and Redhat support this AFAIK..
