Hardware Talk :: NIC with CF drive for DSL?

Hi,

Ive just acquired an old NIC (new internet computer) "appliance" and would like to use a flash drive instead of the floppy drive. Anyone done this and know if it will work? The machine has been upgraded to 128mb ram and to k-6 233hz. I plan on using it for a music server and maybe a quiet web surfer. If so, I will pick up one from the ITX store.
