Umm, now using 4.0 ( really - answering from the DSC at the very moment ) But i had no problem getting the card recognized. Although maybe it helps that I load a packet driver in DOS - it initializes the port.how do i load a packet driver in DOS

actions: take off powercord, double check NO power cord ,
Put in newly received DOC and SO-DIMM (if not fitting, slightly bend metal at sodimm side 1mm upwards, and put in sodimm) , presto, a DSC-II.
Close cover, Plug in USB stick with latest DSL (does not need to be a bootable USB stick, just KNOPPIX/knoppix on it).
Plug in power cord, network cable. Boot up. run loadlin @options.txt. DSL on-line.Next Page...
