Hi kerry,
I like them very much. I find the second screenshot particularly good. I just wonder what do you change exactly in the code of the .torsmo in order to have such effects. Is it just the TEXT part at the end of your log, or are there also changes in the upper parts of the code? (sorry for asking, I haven't had time enough to look at it more carefully).

I just changed the font size and rate on top, most of the changes are just in text. It's a matter of lining things up, i could do the positiong from the top part with the x and y, but its so much easier to just use spaces down at the bottom(text area). I think my friend picked the second one for his desktop. I made them for him, he uses the plane jwm desktop and was getting annoyed with torsmo being in the upper left corner on the blue background, he said it just didn't look right. I'm a across the top person.
Thanks for your answer and explanation, it gives the background a pretty nice look in my opinion. I didn't know that it was so easy to modify the .torsmorc. I shall give it a try as soon as possible in my free time.
