DSL Tips and Tricks :: wireless network card not supported
you need airsnort or rogue scanner to detect networks and information about them.
I have the same problem , cant get USB WLAN Sticks to work , ndiswrapper brings 0 result at all.If somebody finds a trick about this it should be placed at the DSL mainsite I think.
About the soundcard I at least know one possibility. If it is a Soundblaster compatible you can manually type in a "modprobe" command in the bash window.
In my case it was an older ISA card wich can be activated with
"modprobe sb io=0x220 irq=5 dma=1 mpu_io=0x330 isapnp=0" , this line could also be added to the "bootlocal.sh" script so the card is ready at bootup.
Please dont ask me for newer cards , since they dont have any IRQs anymore, maybe the manufacturer has some data for users.
Simply typing "modprobe sb io=0x220" could bring a result too, with some luck ;)
