DSL Tips and Tricks :: Better editor

there is for dsl (dsl-n) a better/new editor?
i mean, nano is ok but most option are disabled (dunno why) so...
a new version of nano
joe
vi
there are for dsl? for debian but useable into dsl?

They are disabled to make nano smaller, it saves about a hundred kb's.

Vi and nano are in DSL, and nothing's stopping you from compiling nano yourself :)
Everything it depends on is included, just get the compiling stuff (gnu-utils & gcc1-with-libs), configure it with the options you want, and then save it somewhere ;)
