On another matter:  has anyone had any luck with guipdftk.dsl?  When I tried it, didn't seem to work.

WDef,

For me works OK in a clean start of DSL from a CD, and in my normal DSL configuration also.

It creates a menu entry in Mydsl menu and runs well.

Can you tell me how you start DSL? or where is the problem to reproduce it?

Thanks to Jason for gsview-4.9.uci. Now posted.
Thanks for picking up on this Onkaryian. I don't want to try it right now since I'm in the middle of something.

I always use a toram dma boot from livecd, usually with java JRE uci and gtk2 installed (perhaps a conflict there?).

Not sure what Juanito uses; the overlap between our two setups might point to the problem.

SInce the gods of cyberspace have decided for some unknown reason that it should be impossible for me to email an extension to Robert, the following link leads to a bz2 tarball containing testdisk.uci, checksum and info file:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4P6513ME

I repeat the md5sum here also:

Please Robert could you post this?

testdisk also comes with a file recovery utility called photorec (included in the uci) for recovering many different typs of deleted files on a wide variety of filesystems.
.

Thanks to WDef testdisk.uci is now posted. Number 900 in the database.
