Apps :: c++ IDEs?

HI! this is my first post.
i'm very new at linux.
i used to work with vc6.0 in windows, but i tried DSL and i LOVED it.  

i have an old pII 350mhz 128 ram, so this is one of the only distr that work smoothly

the only question i have is. HOW can i make any c++ ide work in dsl??
