Apps :: dsl-n and pxe

I am running a dsl enviroment with 10 pc's that all boot over pxe described here
this works fine and is great but it has some drawbacks. I would like a more updated version of dsl but also have some extensions installed and auto loaded (XFree86 and xDMX) and let the 10 pc's boot that image over pxe.
I found this and tryed to follow it but i cannot mount my iso (block device error) but also i would like to know if there is any way that i could achieve the same result but with the extensions installed ?
