Multimedia :: New XnView release

Pierre, the author of XnView, has released a static binary of his new XnViewMP (multiplatform).

Unfortunately this requires libstdc++.so.6. I have asked on their forum if he might consider doing a build for older systems again.

XnView is a great prog in my view, even if it is closed source, far outstripping the capabilities of other graphics viewers under linux, so fingers crossed.

No response from Pierre as yet, however I'm still hopeful, since he's been quite accommodating with build issues on various platforms before.
