I've followed your way of decompressing chmod and recompressing, but when I decompress again the amsn.dsl I still see no write access to others on tmp directory.

I think it's because you use tar and not busybox tar (as it is done in mydsl-install) to extract. The first one doesn't preserve permissions by default, the second does.
