System :: WOOT! X works! Now for the mouse....

Well after a weeks worth of trial and error, damn small linux boots to X beautifully and quickly.  I am very pleased with DSL.  Im having one small problem that is holding me up, the mouse.
Im using a ibm thinkpad 385ed it has 2 mouse buttons and a red thing on the keyboard to move the mouse.
When I boot to X, the mouse pointer will move, but I just cannot click anything. the mouse buttons wont work.  I know for a fact theyre not broken cause they worked with redhat(which took 20 X longer to load.)
this is a HD installed system.

When DSL loads, after the "Autoconfiguring Devices" , it picks up the mouse as a "Generic PS/2" , at /dev/psaux

I have tried a number of options in xsetup.sh , including IMPS(mouse moves, but wont click), PS2 2 button(mouse moves , wont click), PS2 3 button (mouse moves , wont click) and also the com ports (mouse wont move OR click)

After I get this taken care of my system is ready to run and I am stoked cause X-Windows took alot of tinkering to get working.  If anyone has any ideas I would LOVE to hear them!
also, is there a config file for the mouse I can tinker with?

Thanks,
Kyle
