System :: Changing /home
I just finished configuring most of my laptop. This laptop is a P266mhz Toshiba, 96mb and 2 - 2gb hd's...
DSL 2.2b shares this computer wth evil Win98... Everything seems to be working great including NDISWRAPPER with this WPC11linksysPCMCIA card on my wireless network.
I am even considering using this system to run my webpage and php/Mysql forum because DSL runs so fast on it. Not sure yet... I have 3 systems running DSL now at my home and have 2 more to get running with DSL. I have an old laptop out in my garage I haven't messed with in years. It runs good still, but I am planning on installing DSL on it tomorrow. It is a compaq LT51xx (Can't remember) P133mhz with 48mb and 2.1 gb hd. DSL should run great on it. Might have it run my website and use my toshiba to write code with.
So many options, so little time...
DSL is one fun OS. It is by far my favorite flavor of Linux.
It is great to have the Toshiba because it keeps me inside with the family. My wife doesn't get mad at me because I am inside in my chair and not out in the garage coding... I can control all my system using VNC... Funny huh?
