Although I like mc very much, If I had to choose between mc or emelfm, I'd go with emelfm, because I think it integrates better in DSL (this is only my personal opinion). Besides mc takes up 432k while emelfm is only 160k.
By the way, the mc.uci extension is great. It solves the resize problem. Personally, I also like the user-friendly mcedit editor bundled with mc. One small thing though: the extension should add some entries in the mydsl menu.@florian I agree with this very much. The mc.uci that mikshaw made is very well done and much more complete than the currently included version.

Guess i been away to long, should have known/remembered that one. no biggy, i needed to move to my laptop anyway, my desktop is still having problems, that sucker died about 3 months ago, i only got around to working on it now, first thing i did was grab DSL while i could still use the burner.
Hey robert, i forget, on the frugal install, is there the option to not install the bootloader? the reason i ask is because i already have grub for my debian system & would really just like to add DSL to that. it's going to take a couple of days, for me to remember the DSL way of doing things. thanksNo, as there would be little for the script to do other than copy the base DSL files onto a partition. i agree with you guys on emelfm, i used the mydsl to install it. it's just so much faster easier to work with. i'm still feeling my way around.Next Page...
