HD Install :: Can't find KNOPPIX

Well the dicks worked on my other computers.  I was able to get the KNOPPIX file on my hard drive on the computer to do a poormans install.  When I booted it didn't dectect the file.  I path to the file is c:\KNOPPIX\KNOPPIX.  My goal is to load the LiveCD then format my Hard Drive and Install DSL, is that posssabl with a poormans install?
Yes.

You will need to keep your poorman's install data partition intact, but it is possible to use the poorman's install to do an hd install to a different part of your hard drive or to a different hard drive in the same computer.

You may need to copy the \boot files over from the CDROM to the C:\ drive in order to do such an installation.

I am getting the same error message as mentioned at the opening of this post.  I do not believe the CD has any errors or problems.

I'm attempting to install on a Pentium 233Mhz, 64MB, 4Gig HD system.  I wiped all drive information using fdisk so there is no operating system on the machine at the moment.

Anyone have any suggestions why I'm getting the "Can't find Knoppix" error?

Also, I've attempted the isolinux and syslinux versions of the iso and get the error for both CDs.
I will load the Hard Drive up to my other computer format it then I will copy the KNOPPIX file over that will work I think.  I am busy right now so that will have to wait a day or two.  I will get back with my results.
