HD Install :: Frugal install can't login

Hello,

I downloaded clivesay's HOWTO on DSL frugal installation and it went over fine. http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/damnsmall/current/pdfdocs/

His document didn't mention what root password would be when I rebooted.

Can someone help?

There are no passwords.

However, user 'dsl' has 'sudo' access, which will give you super-user privileges. (also see the flux/jvm menu menus)
You then can use the 'passwd' tool then to enter a password if you wish.
