HD Install :: adding toram

The answer to this problem for me was to install with lilo not grub because in lilo you have the option to add toram to the boot line.I just reinstalled using lilo.

I thought I solved the problem by reinstalling using the lilo option where it gave me the option of adding TORAM during the install. Now at boot I get :
GRUB loading,please wait.....
error 15

Look for Grub's menu.lst file in /boot/grub on the partition where DSL was installed. This is the partition which has "boot" and "KNOPPIX" directories in its top level.
The menu.lst file should have at least one entry, which relates to the menu item or items listed at the grub screen.

I was surprised to find an additional menu.lst in /Ramdisk/boot/grub/ folder with root set to my swap drive (hda2). I checked with my other laptop (also a frugal grub install with the image on hda1)....same thing.

You are looking at a template. It is the one used for traditional hard drive install and as a template to the one used during frugal installation.
