HD Install :: Full install on USB

Any plans to make DSL fully installable on USB as defined here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_USB as opposed to DSL being derived as it is packaged now?

I was hoping to be able to do this with DSL now :/

Frugals are the way to go, esp. for flash devices since it limits writing to the device by a lot.

Why would you need a "full" installation though?

I want more persistance than what it currently offers as  a frugal install.

Can I configure everything without having to enter everything on the commandline?

Also, according the frugal install installation:

1) Boot the LiveCD. Choose Frugal Install from the menu.

What menu?

That's not what flash memory is made for. You're going to toast your USB stick running a full OS like that.

Configure what on the command line? And what's wrong with that?

The one in fluxbox, the one in jwm. Take your pick.

Well... you'll probably want to use the USB-ZIP or USB-HDD script since those will set up your usb drive's geometry/partitions for you, instead of the regular frugal script.
