HD Install :: Cannot boot from Live CD



Null modem transfer is ok too, if they have serial ports...
Oh, and don't forget irda! These two have the same speed, but irda will save money for not buying cables ;)

May need a reinstall because GRUB was seeing partitions that weren't really there. I wasn't allowed to partition hda1 and hda2. It would only allow hda1 and hda5. (swap & Linux) I knew I was in trouble when GRUB asked if I had Windows partitions on this drive. These machines all have 3Com network cards. Does DSL have any problems with ISA cards? I noticed they were recognized during setup.

That's not GRUB, that's the install script.

Recognized at setup and boot is good! Those NICs should work.
