HD Install :: Hangs at Removing leading '/' from member names

This is as far as I get trying to install to my harddrive.
This is a IBM T21 with 128mb of ram and 20gigs of harddrive space I ran cfdisk and created a 256 swap hda1 at the end and the rest I made bootable which was hda2. I boot dsl toram and run the hdinstall from aterm. The only thing that did not work right was when I tryed to swapon it said it was busy could this be my problem ???

Maybe. Could be that the swap was already properly created and already in use. Or it could be that you need to run mkswap <device> before swapon.

I don't get what the thread title means, though. You didn't mention anything about it in the post

Or the partitions aren't in disk order - they should be
With only 128MB I would not boot toram if only to do an install.
The most efficient way is that the very first boot prompt type install.

boot: install

Then select from the menu which type of install you wish to perform.

I figured it out I was booting to ram and 128mb was running it great but it caused an issue when trying to install to the harddrive I guess that was the problem it is up and working fine...  Thanks for the replys and I am sure I will have more ??s coming have to figure out a pcmcia wireless card when I get home I hope it just works LOL but do love DSL !!!!
