Thanks, but I've already tried this one... Well, it boots if I specify "dsl xsetup" and "xfbdev" instead of "xvesa" at the menu. (I was sure I had tried it !) So I began to believe...! But, here I need your explanations : can't I have it installed on my HD working the SaME? I tried Tools/Install and Tools/Frugal install but it doesn't work ! First after the grub, it freezes at "Uncompressing Linux... ok, booting the kernel." => I can pass it adding "acpi=off" But then the X really don't want. I am thrown to a shell and even if I type xsetup.sh and choose xfbdev, I got this : $ startx modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module fb0 XIO: fatal IO error 104 (COnnection reset by peer) on xserver ":0.0" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining It's all the more frustrating that the live CD works! |
