Multimedia :: Any luck with NSV?

Hey all,

I read somewhere that nsv (nullsoft streaming video) is supported my both mplayer and xine, but I am unable to get any nsv video streams (such as the anime on desync.com) to load up & play. I unfortunately got hooked on winamp 5's new internet tv feature, and would love to have it in dsl. Has anyone tinkered with this?

Apart from saying that I got xine to play
vp3 clip, no,can't help with stream.
Don't have high-speed connection,
my impression is that this is required
for the tv stream.
